Painted Finch Size: 10cm Habitat: Located in the Central North West Australia, this bird prefers the rocky hills and the spinifex habitats of our arid center. Forages on the ground for seeds. Notes: Brown head and back, face red in males, black chest and belly covered in white spots. Breeds in response to rainfall.
