Eastern Whipbird  

Size: 25cm  

Habitat: Located east of the Great Dividing range, this bird inhabits rainforests, thick scrub and thick bushed creek frontage, the Eastern Whipbird feeds mainly on the ground rummaging through leaves and twigs for insects and grubs.  

Notes: Brown/Olive coloured bird with black crest, white patch on cheek, eyes red. Breeds Winter-Spring-Summer.
